Statute authorizes the use of P3’s on certain types of transportation infrastructure projects, including certain transportation facilities, certain construction projects on historic buildings, and tourism projects which are defined as art projects, stadiums, or other tourism facilities. Counties of 700,000 persons or more may also enter into P3’s for transportation facilities. Statute allows unsolicited bids, with the exception of tolls roads and toll bridges.
