    Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Workforce Training Grants – Aids businesses in workforce retention and expansion into new markets and technology. The program provides grant funds to businesses to upgrade or improve the job-related skills of a business’s full-time positions. Grant funds may be approved for eligible training provided to existing and new employees in full-time jobs. Routine training is ineligible. Training shall be related to a specific project. The program incents job training that focuses on new technology, industrial skills, or manufacturing processes and is not available through other resources. Certain wage and benefits requirements apply. Grant is 50% of eligible training costs, up to $5,000 per full-time position trained. The maximum award is $200,000.

    Fast Forward Grant Program – A $15 million grant program available to support employer-led worker training. The training cannot replace existing, routine operational training and must solve a documented skills need not addressed through an existing education or training program. It also must be repeatable, portable and scalable.
